The Cybersecurity program targets the growth in low or no-code Cybersecurity roles. Students will gain a deep understanding of the security landscape and experience with modern no-code tools covered in this program.
This program includes online courses as part of the curriculum through our partnership with Rize. These offer students cutting-edge curriculum, greater scheduling flexibility, access to nationwide experts in the field, and access to even more resume-ready skills. Rize courses may not be taken for electives.
Program Student Learning Outcomes
- Students will be able to develop and implement security plans to safeguard data against attacks by applying industry-standard frameworks for threat detection.
- Students will be able to construct and deploy security controls and countermeasures in network and system environments to protect systems from common attacks.
- Students will be able to develop and implement robust security policies, procedures, and emergency measures that comply with legal and governmental requirements and protect individual rights.
- Students will be able to conduct incident investigations using modern forensic tools and execute response and recovery plans to minimize the impact of security events.
- Students will be able to develop and execute ethical hacking strategies, utilizing industry-standard tools and techniques to discover vulnerabilities within networks and systems.
- Students will be able to analyze complex cybersecurity challenges, evaluate potential solutions, and implement effective strategies to mitigate risks and protect against threats.

Business Core
Students majoring in accounting, agricultural business, business administration, business analytics, cybersecurity, financial management, human resources management, management, marketing, or supply chain management must complete the 39-credit business core and the required credits in the major. |
