The Educational Studies Major is designed as a K-12 non-licensure program, providing students with a comprehensive understanding of the educational landscape. This pathway is essential for individuals who wish to contribute meaningfully to schools and educational settings in important supporting roles that enhance student learning and success. Additionally, it serves as a strong foundation for those pursuing advanced studies in teaching, counseling, or educational leadership. By emphasizing an understanding of the whole child, child development, special education, literacy, and fieldwork, this degree equips graduates with the knowledge and skills necessary to make a lasting impact in K-12 education.
