The supply chain management major provides students with the knowledge and skills to deepen their understanding of the SCM discipline’s strategic impact on achieving business objectives. Students will explore all facets of supply chain processes, from initial sourcing decisions to product delivery to the point of need. Included are processes such as demand forecasting, cost efficiency, optimization of packaging and logistics, and supplier relationship management. The major prepares students to gain a supply chain management position.
*May not be taken with any major or minor that would duplicate an emphasis or with the management major.
Program Student Learning Outcomes
- Students will be able to interpret the challenges, issues, and concerns in international supply chain management.
- Students will be able to evaluate theory and methods to address and improve supply chain and logistics efficiencies.
- Students will be able to explain the role of operations and supply chain within the organization.

Business Core
Students majoring in accounting, agricultural business, business administration, business analytics, cybersecurity, financial management, human resources management, management, marketing, or supply chain management must complete the 39-credit business core and the required credits in the major.
