CHEM 151 - General Chemistry I

Through an atoms-first approach, fundamental concepts in chemistry are introduced. Utilizing atomic structure as the basis for study, students explore aspects of bonding and chemical reactions, as well as the nature of compounds. Students will also learn the periodic trends of the elements. Laboratory experiments emphasize a group approach to problem-solving and correlate with lecture material.
