PA 524 - Leadership Issues with Critical Incidents 3 Credit(s)
This course examines concepts and theoretical approaches to managing critical incidents. Case studies will be used to examine the application of emergency management and homeland security strategies. This course builds on roles and responsibilities of all levels of government and the non-profit organizations in emergency manage-ment operations. Specifically, the Incident Command System, and the National Response Framework and the Stafford Act will be discussed.
