BA 256 - Quantitative Analysis for Business I

This course is designed for business students who have a good foundation in mathematics and algebra. Students will learn to apply descriptive statistics, probability and random variables, inferential statistics, sampling of business data, and time series within the business environment. Heavy emphasis will be on business applications utiliz-ing Microsoft Excel and other business statistical packages.

Prerequisites: IS 102 and achieve an ALEKS placement score of 30-60 or MATH 101, MATH 105, MATH 107, MATH 220, ACCT 201, or transfer course equivalent.
