ART 252 - Art and Architecture in Italy

This is a survey of the art and architecture of Italy and the Renaissance. This class will be a field-based course that focuses on the wealth of art and architecture of Italy. Florence and neighboring towns will be the classroom as the students visit some of the world’s greatest museums and study the art and architecture from the Etrus-cans to Brunelleschi and Michelangelo.
