The business administration major is designed for students to gain a broad-based understanding of business. May not be taken with any major or minor that would duplicate an emphasis or with the management major.
Program Student Learning Outcomes
- Students will differentiate and apply qualitative and quantitative tools and techniques to develop a business-critical decision-making process.
- Students will identify, apply, and evaluate management concepts and critically apply these concepts to all organizational types.
- Students will demonstrate knowledge of the strategic management process and the ability to assess industry attractiveness and the competitive environment.

Business Core
Students majoring in accounting, agricultural business, business administration, business analytics, cybersecurity, financial management, human resources management, management, marketing, or supply chain management must complete the 39-credit business core and the required credits in the major.
