The purpose of these Bylaws is to define guidelines and procedures for the organization and
governance of the faculty so that members of the faculty may understand their responsibilities within this organizational framework and to provide a means by which the faculty can fulfill their shared governance responsibility.
1.2
Faculty should refer to their respective Handbook to find the rights, duties, and responsibilities generally associated with teaching, service, scholarship, and professional development; and to the Employee Handbook for provisions associated with being University employees.
