BIO 283 - General Genetics 4 Credit(s)
Presents fundamental principles of classical genetics as well as an introduction to modern molecular genetics; Emphasizes Mendelian genetics, linkage, gene expression and regulation, and mutation. The laboratory includes the use of statistics and probability to generate and test genetic hypotheses, as well as introduces molecular genetic techniques and tools.
Prerequisites: BIO 135 . Undergraduate
